🕹️ How to Play Maze Flicks

Maze Flicks is easy to learn, fast to play, and full of racing fun. Here’s how it works:

1. Open the Book 📖

Maze Flicks book includes every race three times, so you can practice, master your flicks, and even replay your favorite mazes (beat your score or play with friends or family)

2. Take Your Turn ✍️

Place your pen or pencil at your current spot… and flick it!
Where the mark stops is your new position — whether it’s on the path, in a wall, or off track.

3. Switch Players 🔄

After you’ve taken your turn, it’s the next player’s chance to flick or move.

  • If there are 2 players, you simply go back and forth: Player 1 → Player 2 → Player 1 → Player 2, and so on.
  • If there are more than 2 players, everyone gets one turn each before it comes back to you. For example: Player 1 → Player 2 → Player 3 → Player 4 → back to Player 1.

This process is systematic and fair — every player gets their turn in order, and nobody plays twice until the whole group has had a go.

4. Race to the Finish 🏁

Keep taking turns flicking your way through the maze until a player reaches the finish.

  • The finish line has a line in front of it that must be crossed.
  • You cannot win by stopping behind the line or passing through an area where there isn’t a line directly in front of the finish.
  • Only when your piece completely crosses the finish line in the correct spot does it count.

The first player to do this wins the race! 🎉

🎯 Quick Tips

  • Hitting a wall means you’re stuck there until your next turn.
  • The finish line must be crossed to win — no shortcuts!
  • Each maze can only be played once, so every race is fresh and exciting.

⚠️ Play Fair – No Cheaty-Flicks!

It’s important to flick the pen or pencil as intended — you cannot drag, draw, or push it through the maze.

  • Doing this is called a “Cheaty-Flick”.
  • If a Cheaty-Flick happens, the other players decide the penalty. Common options include:
    • Miss a turn ⏸️
    • Re-flick 🔄 (take your turn again properly)
