MazeFlicks Official Rules 📖

1️⃣ Set Up 🏁

  • Place the maze on a flat surface.
  • Each player chooses a pen or pencil to represent them in the maze.
  • Decide who goes first (roll a die, flip a coin, or pick randomly).

2️⃣ Take Turns 🎯

  • Players take turns flicking their pen or pencil through the maze.
  • You can practice your flick as much as you like, as long as the pen or pencil doesn’t touch the paper.
  • Allowed flick styles: Curved flicks, wiggles, “S”-shaped flicks, or long flicks to the wall.
  • All flicks must be one continuous motion with speed. No drawing or pushing — that’s a Cheaty-Flick.
  • Only one flick counts per turn.

3️⃣ Switch Players 🔄

  • After one player takes their turn, it’s the next player’s chance.
  • 2 players: alternate turns back and forth.
  • More than 2 players: everyone gets one turn each before it comes back to you. Example: Player 1 → Player 2 → Player 3 → Player 4 → back to Player 1.
  • This process is systematic and fair.

4️⃣ Race to the Finish 🏁

  • Keep taking turns flicking your pen or pencil through the maze.
  • The finish line has a line in front of it that must be crossed.
  • You cannot win by stopping behind the line or passing through an area without a line directly in front.
  • Only when your pen or pencil completely crosses the finish line in the correct spot does it count.
  • The first player to do this wins the race! 🎉

5️⃣ Play Fair – No Cheaty-Flicks ⚠️

  • Always flick your pen or pencil — no dragging, drawing, or pushing.
  • Doing this is a Cheaty-Flick.
  • Penalties (decided by other players): Miss a turn ⏸️ or Reflick 🔄.
  • Long flicks, curved flicks, wiggles, or “S”-shaped flicks are allowed as long as it’s one fast, continuous motion.
  • Fair play keeps the game fun for everyone!

6️⃣ Variations & Special Versions 🌟

  • These are the base rules for MazeFlicks.
  • Some versions, like MazeFlicks [Power Ups], have special boosters that:
    • Give players extra turns
    • Teleport players to new locations
  • Rules may vary slightly depending on the version — always check the instructions for the specific game.
